How do I book the Texas Beach House?
You book direct on VRBO. Each floor has its own VRBO listing, and the whole house has a separate one. The Book Now buttons on this site take you straight to the right listing.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM. You check yourself in through VRBO, so there is no front desk to coordinate with.
How close is the beach?
It is beachfront. Floor One opens onto the sand from the back door, and the upper floors reach the beach by stairs. There is no road to cross on any floor.
Can I rent the whole house for a wedding or family reunion?
Yes. All three floors connect into one house that sleeps 22 across eight bedrooms, which is what makes it work for reunions, weddings, and big-family weekends. Beach weddings have a three-night minimum.
How many people can stay?
Floor One sleeps 6, Floor Two and Floor Three each sleep 8, and all three floors booked together as the whole house sleep 22.
Can I watch a SpaceX launch from the house?
Often, yes. SpaceX launches from Starbase, just up the coast at Boca Chica, and the upper decks face that way. Launch dates move around, so check the current schedule before you plan a trip around one.
Are pets allowed?
No. The house is pet-free and non-smoking on every floor.
Is there parking?
Yes, and it depends on the floor. Floor One has a garage space plus one outside. Floor Two and Floor Three each have two spaces in front. Booked as the whole house, there are six on-site spaces plus free street parking.
